Well friends!

I am showing my newer project, the naval fighter Grumman F9F-2 Phanter. This fighter was developed at the end of the world war II was used thoroughly by U.S. Navy in the Korean War and he had the distinction of it being the first airplane to jet wrapping up in a dogfight with other jet (in the case a MiG-15).

I personally saw that airplane in a museum in Argentina called Aeroparque (Airpark) (the Argentina Navy used that airplane (F9F-5) in the years 60 and 70).

This model marketed in spanish magazine my sister brought of Spain there are some years ago with other models he originally is in the scale 1/48, it is well perfected in spite of the colors be very clear, the construction engineering is excellent considering that product to be a lot similar to the kits of Maly Modelarz of the years 60 and 70. The most serious lack is the landing gear absence that I will have to do in scratch or to use pieces of Fiddlers Green model...

I'm scan and reduced the model... Wink

I'm intrested in aviation of IIWW, and I usually make plastic models in 1:72 scale but I'm going to observe your work too Exclamation

Your Vickers Type 151 Jockey 1/100 scale is excellent.

Maybe I'll try to build such model Question

I hadn't made any paper models since I was a teenager. I think that it is a proper time to return to it.

I am a little stopped in relation to the hobby, why am in time of exams for the university. But I believe that on Monday I already have new photos to show on the air intake and the wings that are already ready...

Plus some pictures of F9F Phanter now already in phase of finish, the model is 90% complete, just lacking the landing gear, the arrestor hook and the wing tip tanks.

The only serious problem of that model is really the very pale colors, prentendo to use the formers of this model in of Fiddlers Green which has colors and necessary demarcations to do a better Phanter in the future!

Well friends!

Here it is one more addition for my collection 1/100, here is the the picture of concluded Phanter, as they can notice I had to glue the model in a base in function of not being able to for obvious reasons to put weight. But we are going the pictures...
